Religion Dispatches’ 10 Questions series long been one of my favorite columns. It has let me see what the authors of some of my favorite books were thinking about as they researched and wrote. I often share the columns with students as they read those books in the classes I teach, and it’s fun to see them light up as they come to understand that research is conducted by real people.
Now I get to be on the author end of the series. As always, the folks at Religion Dispatches are a fun group to work with–and this series of questions helped me think about the work of writing more deeply and reflect on some of the fun (even in writing about hate groups) along the way.
